Description
This laying cat is quite striking, displaying multicolored sacred symbols. There is a brown deer head on the back, three large peyote and several scorpions. The deer spirit is said to have led the gods and goddesses into the new world through a tunnel from the chaotic sky world. The peyote symbolizes life, sustenance, health, success, good luck, and shamanic powers. The scorpions are used by healers to fight bad luck and demons. They are also the protectors of the peyote.
Seen in real life this cat comes to life and is imbued with the Huichol connection to the spirit world. It is 4 1/2″ long and 2 1.2″ wide.
