Description
This beautiful cross is created with blue, white and silver beads. The sacred symbols used in this piece are scorpion, peyote and a silver deer. Scorpion protect the peyote, which symbolizes success in life. The deer is a messenger from the gods. Just as crosses occur everywhere in Mexican life, the Huichol have incorporated it into their culture. The dimensions are 5.25 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and .75 inches deep. The beads are applied to a perfectly rectangular dark wood carving. There is a hole in the back for hanging. It may be displayed on a stand as well. The cross will have a vibrancy wherever it is displayed. Our customers always say how special these crosses are.
