Peruvian Gourd Ornament – Hummingbird

Description

This gourd ornament is painstakingly colored using a small flame to ‘burn’ different areas, etched and painted to create a wonderful design.  This is a traditional technique that Peruvian artists have used for a very long time.   The end result is an ornament that comes to life wherever it is hung.  It is approximately 3″ tall and 3″ in diameter.  The colors are red or natural light brown (like the picture of a box, not an ornament).
