Peruvian Gourd Ornament – Medium Size ‘Blonde’ Owl

Description

This light colored gourd owl is created using a traditional technique that Peruvian artists have used for a very long time.  It is painstakingly discolored using a small flame to darken different areas.  Then it’s etched to create this lovely design.   The end result is an ornament that comes to life wherever it is hung.  The gourds are 2.5″ in diameter.  Each ornament is unique due to the shape of the gourd and the hand painting.
